Angel Card Readings

• Ask a question –
• clear and consecrate your cards if necessary (see previous posts on this) then, ask a question that you honestly would like the answer too. The angels will know the issue that’s on your mind.
• The angels bear our thoughts so you needn’t ask this question out loud. Some people may be afraid to voice their true questions, so the answer they receive may seem to contradict the question they posed. This is because the answer is in response to the true question asked, the underlying question you’re thinking of, or the deep-seated wish or desire it’s related to.
• The angels prefer that you admit your desires to yourself and them so that they may help you.
• If you are doing a reading for someone else the above still applies. Ask them their question.

*Unsure of what question to ask, then ask your angels for guidance:

“What do I need to know today?”

This is a wonderful question to ask in the morning.

Direct your inquiry to your angels while shuffling your cards, and then spread them on a flat surface with the pictures facing downward.

Run your hand along the cards, and choose one that attracts you either visually or by a feeling.

The card will give you a helpful theme to remember during the day.

• Shuffle the cards

Think of the question you wish to ask whilst shuffling the cards, if a card should jump out whilst shuffling place them to one side, as they will be part of your reading.

As you shuffle the deck, your likely to notice thoughts, feelings, visions or words. This is the representation of Divine guidance from your angels, this will help you to understand the cards that you draw from the deck. So pay attention to your impressions as they come to you, they are relevant to you personally.

When the cards begin to clump into two halves, it’s time to stop shuffling.

Your angels will guide you through thoughts, feelings and visions as to when to stop shuffling. You cannot make a mistake and stop shuffling too soon, as the angels oversee this process.

Now it’s time to choose a card.

• Choose a card

Pull the top card from the deck – this is your message from the angels.

Look at the card the picture has meaning as well as the words written on the card – so take time to examine the picture.

As you read the card, pay attention to how you feel, emotions, thoughts and feelings as this card has a personal meaning to you.

They are constantly there, but you need to ask specifically what you need. They want to offer, help, support, inspiration and guidance but cannot give it to you till you ask them direct questions. Sounds simply so give it a try!

Oracle cards are an ancient , time honoured way to connect with angels. Their work is based on the Law of Attraction. The cards that you draw match the vibration of your question or thought pattern. This is why when drawing your cards you pick the same card repeatedly.

Constant Guidance from the Angelic realm

Following on from the preparation of your Angel Cards, once your cards are imbued with your energies, you can choose a card each morning for angelic guidance.

• Keep it with you to meditate upon throughout the day, this will remind you of your angelic guidance, or alternatively
• You may want to write the message down on a piece of paper as a reminder of its message while you are out and about during your day.

Both of the above methods will remind you to ask for your angels help throughout your day. Over time you will learn to continually talk to your angels just as though you were a close-knit team.

This sense of togetherness will be a positive change in your life.

Preparing your Angel Cards – Part two

Secondly, you need to consecrate the cards.

• Fan the cards out with the artwork facing you. Hold the fanned out cards to your heart, and think of any prayers or intentions that you would like to imbue through your angel cards. (Guidance or inspiration)
• You could say something like this:

• I ask that all my readings with these cards be accurate, specific, and bring blessings to everyone involve. Angels, please help me to stay centred in my higher self so that I may clearly hear, see, feel and know the Divine messages that you impart through me and these cards. Please give me the confidence to understand, trust, and follow through with your messages.

Preparing your angel cards Part One

• 
• Firstly, place your angel deck of cards in your non dominant hard, and with your other hand make a fist.
• Your non dominant hand is the one you do not usual write in. You make a fist with your other hand as this is the hand that receives energy.
• When you form a fist in your dominant hand, you knock firmly on top of the cards, once firmly.
• This method clears all old energies from the cards so you begin working with them on a cold slate. (Old energies from the manufacturing process, and other people handling them)
• You will need to repeat this process every time someone other than you handles the cards, to clear vibrations that are absorbed through the cards – we all have our own personal vibrations.)
• The angel cards are sensitive to energies, they can become clogged with too much energies when used on multiply people, so if your readings lack clarity repeat the above process.

Cleaning crystal tips

Crystals can be cleaned under flowing water – still mineral water is preferable to tap water.

• It should be at room temperature – important as any sudden changes to temperature can cause stones to crack if they already have a weakness in their structure.

Soap

• Should only be used if completely natural
• Only used to remove the most stubborn dirt

Old toothbrush

• Ideal for rubbing gently to remove dirt and grime from stones.

Pearls

• Do not use soaps/detergents as this causes them to lose their lustre
• To clean pearls – cover them in potato flour and then rinse with water.

Clean crystals separately

Crystals needing special care

Certain crystals are more easily damaged than others so require special care.

Amber

• This is easily scratched and should be stored in a soft material – silk/velvet
• To clean amber – use a mild soap and lukewarm water and polish it dry with a soft cloth
• Rubbing it with virgin olive oil also helps restore lost lustre.

Opals

• These contain up to 10 per cent water and should not be kept near heat sources, which can cause them to crack; or in dry places as this will cause them to lose their colour.
• Store opals in a small container of water.

Pearls

• These contain up to 2 per cent of water and, like opals, must not be kept near heat
• Do not expose them to acidic liquids such as vinegar or red wine, as this might cause them to dissolve.
